ZIG ZAG took a trip from Warrenpoint, Carlingford Lough, to Peel, Isle of Man during August 10-13th 2017.On board were Skipper Walter Scott, Damien McCartan and Paul McNulty. A big spring tide saw us leave Warrenpoint close to high water at 01.30 am on Thursday the 10th. After a good crossing we arrived at Peel at 13.50 pm, 60 nautical miles later.
The highlight of the trip was a visit by a large pod of bottle nosed dolphins....see the 3 videos below.
