Red Star Boat Club BBQ

Red Star Boat Club held its Family Charity BBQ in glorious sunshine on the pontoon at Warrenpoint on Tuesday June 4th.

It was attended by family and friends alike, and a very successful recruitment campaign ensued  with casual visitors to the pier.

Many more were inducted into the Pioneers Total Abstinence Society, as the photographic evidence shows.

A charity draw took place, and money was raised for the following :

RNIB ( Royal Institute for the Blind )

The RPA ( Retired Pirates Association )

The local pontoon neighbour-boat watch group... TWATS

( Towards Working Against Thugs in Sailing )

..and a great time was had by all....
