Balbriggan Harbour

Skipper of Zig Zag took a trip down the coast to Balbriggan, having it on the radar as a potential port of call. It is a drying harbour, welcoming to all boats, with some long-term looking residents !!

There were 2 Westerly centaurs in the harbour as well.

1. Looking towards the harbour entrance

2. Westerly Centaur number one....

3. Upper reaches of the harbour, near the railway bridge...

4. And looking back the other way....

5. Towards the harbour entrance....

6. Not leaving port anytime soon...

7. Renovation project abandoned....??

8. Ex-minsweeper renovation....causing much local grief.....

.9. And another Westerly Centaur....

10. Balbriggan harbour entrance

11. Back where we started...looking from the railway bridge in to the harbour....

Very friendly and welcoming to visiting boats - a welcome change to Newry and Mourne District Council's attitude to Warrenpoint Pontoon users and visitors.
