A windy Sunday at Warrenpoint

Not many boats left on Warrenpoint moorings, as it is October on Tuesday, and it is getting dark.... and cold......Seatruck docked in the distance...

'Zig Zag' and 'Ares' were at the pontoon.... riding out the 40 mph winds.....

...with the pontoon offering excellent shelter from the South Easterlies...

Chris Cassidy and 'Synergy' - another Westerly - were also there....

...and the inshore rescue boys were about...

Damian McCartan's boat, AKA 'Fish Magnet' can be seen in the distance on the most sheltered mooring of the lot...

'Synergy' with few boats and many empty moorings.....

...it was much rougher than it looks...as I looked over to Carlingford and the Lough entrance...

....the wind really got up....

...even the fish were struggling...

.....and 'Whisky Mac' was bouncing on its mooring.....

...plenty of shelter at the pontoon....

......with the occasional visitor.....

....the Town Dock was full to the gills...

...with the recently dismasted yacht, 'Thetis' berthed...

...would not want to pay that repair bill...and in the evening the wind was just as strong...
